Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Will reflexology hurt?A. No it won't hurt. It may be slightly tender in areas that need working on, but it should never hurt.
Q. Can you diagnose an illness?
A. I can't diagnose an illness, if something doesn't seem right then you will be referred to your GP. If you are worried about anything medically, see your GP first.
Q. How will I feel after the treatment?
A. Everyone reacts differently, you may feel great or you may feel sick or get cold symptoms. All effects are good as it shows that your body is responding to the treatment. If you are worried at all we can discuss it until you are reassured.
Q. Can I have a treatment while undergoing medical treatment?
A. If your consultant says it is fine, then all conditions are considered. A letter from your consultant will be required though, and if I am not comfortable treating it, I will refer you to another therapist who may be able to help you further.
Q. Can I have more than one treatment in a day?
A. It is better for you to only have one treatment at a time, if you wanted to try different treatments, then you can try a different one each week or month.
Q. Will facials bring me out in spots?
A. Facials help to balance out the skin and release impurities, so around six weeks after you start a skin care regime you may notice more spots appear. They do go away and you are left with lovely skin after.
